For all artists who wish they could find in a synthetic brush the exceptional attributes of natural Kolinsky hair, Raphaël has imagined STRADIVARIUS: a first-class brush with an elegant black design and an exclusive synthetic fiber that captures the qualities of natural Kolinsky hair.

Made in Raphaël’s factory, the fiber is slightly wavy, conferring an excellent color-holding capacity to the brush. Each size has a specific blend of fibers with different thicknesses to ensure an adequate spring and the best shape memory. Our 230 years of expertise together with the dexterity of our skilled brushmakers who shape each brush by hand guarantee you a perfect point that allows for finest strokes.

Like its natural counterpart, the fiber is flexible and adapted to all fluid mediums. It is particularly suited for watercolor and ink. Less fragile, it is easy to clean, which ensures a long life for a properly maintained brush.

To make it even more pleasant to use, the handle has a matte finish that makes it soft to the touch.
